Trevor Hoobe was born in Livingstone Zambia to Carlos Hoobe and Alice Kaliyangile. His father was from Zimbabwe and his mother from Zambia. Both parents died after short illnesses in 2018 and 2019. His grandmother was the only living relative that could be found by social welfare. She had no information on the father’s family. Because she could not care for Trevor and his three siblings: Kathryn, Trust, and Luke, Social Welfare contacted us at New Day to take the children.
Trevor came to live at New Day on May 21st, 2019. Trevor’s grandmother said she believes he is 8 years old. His birthdate is unknown, so we have given him a birthday, August 8, 2011.
