Lushomo was born November 4, 2013. His mother is chronically ill after suffering a stroke which left her physically handicapped. Lushomo’s father, who never married his mother, abandoned them soon after he was born. Lushomo was sent to an orphanage near his mother’s home when he was just a baby.
Lushomo joined the New Day family in late December 2019, after the orphanage where he lived was shut down by the government because of poor conditions. Lushomo has a great smile, is a fast learner, and gives the best hugs.
