Francis was born December 15, 2004 in Choma. His mother and father died when he was young, and after living with different family members, he finally ended up with his grandmother. She cared for him until she was no longer able, and she brought him to New Day in tears. She knew this was the best option for her grandson and that he would have a good life. She died one year later and was able to see Francis again two weeks before she died.
Francis arrived at New Day in July of 2011. Francis is a very smart child who we have to keep our eyes on! If there is something that can be taken apart, he will find a way! He is a constant mechanic and builder, trying to figure out how things work! Francis prefers to be by himself but does enjoy sports with his friends. Because of the godly example set by the staff at New Day, Francis became a believer in September 2012.
