Iness was born in 2011. She lived with her mother who struggled with alcoholism and prostitution. An uncle offered to take custody of Iness, but after an attempted assault by her uncle, social welfare and the police became involved. Iness was brought to New Day on October 17th, 2022 at the request of social welfare. After a few months, her mother passed away. We are grateful that God has provided a safe place for Iness at New Day.
